WE'RE AT SHIFT 2025

September is bringing one of Europe’s most exciting developer gatherings: Shift 2025 in Zadar. Organized by Infobip, Shift is a major conference that brings together thousands of developers, innovators, and industry leaders from across the world.

This year, Filix will be there to present something entirely new.
We call it Borealiss (patent pending), a new brand born from our partnership with Infobip. It’s the name for a new generation of technologies that bring light and safety together, making them more human, intuitive, and responsive than ever before.

Rethinking the way we interact with light

For decades, lighting has been about switches, panels, and technical control systems. But what if it could be simpler? What if you could communicate with light as easily as you communicate with people?

That’s the question we’ve been working on together with Infobip.

Our R&D teams have invested significant time and resources into building a conversational model for light management. By integrating AI and advanced communication technology, we’ve created a system that simplifies everyday interaction with lighting. It allows spaces to adapt instantly to mood, atmosphere, or activity, without the complexity of traditional control systems.

When every second counts

Innovation, however, isn’t only about comfort it’s also about protection. That’s why alongside lighting, we’ve developed a safety model that acts as a constant guardian.

This system is always present, monitoring the environment and human presence discreetly, without intrusion. The moment something unusual happens, it responds instantly, faster than any person could. Whether it’s detecting environmental risks or recognizing critical situations, the focus is on awareness and immediate action.

Why Shift?

Shift is a community of forward-thinkers shaping the future of technology. Presenting this innovation here means putting it in front of the people who will understand its potential and help carry it forward.

What comes next

We won’t reveal everything yet. But what we can say is that this technology will change the way people think about lighting and safety.

Stay tuned as we share more from Shift.

Intelligent Light, Human-Centered Safety.
