Description
The Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation at the American Museum of Natural History opened in 2023, designed by Studio Gang. Lighting was developed by Renfro Design Group, with Filix contributing to the project through the supply of RDP100 fixtures and custom inground marker lights RDP300. These robust luminaires were integrated into the architecture to support navigation and spatial definition across public areas. The project reflects a close collaboration between architecture and lighting, ensuring durability, precision, and aesthetic consistency in one of New York’s most significant new cultural and educational spaces.
