Filix introduces fully-integrated Step Up products for North America
Inter-lux announces the introduction of fully-integrated Filix Step Up products for the North American market. The family of linear LED recessed products include Step Up, Step Up Deco and Step Up Slim. Each features extruded aluminum or stainless steel body and 3/8” thick tempered glass for walkover and drive-over protection. Products are IP67 rated and are offered in multiple lengths, color temperatures and RGB.

Filix, a key inter-lux market partner, announces the expansion of manufacturing operations in North America. Complementing their European manufacturing base in Croatia, the U.S. plant provides additional capacity and commercial service for North America. The entire range of indoor, outdoor and underwater standard products, as well as custom products will be produced in this facility.
Manufacturing and warehousing space is conveniently located in Columbia, MD, near the home office of inter-lux.
With the establishment of the North American-based site, Filix extends its ability to service and supply international projects around the globe. It currently has strategic partners based in the U.K. and Europe, and relationship networks within the Middle East and Asia as well.

ARC SHOW LONDON 2011
Whether you are involved in lighting projects within the public and local authority sectors, through to the creation of world leading retail environments, The ARC Show brings together the entire spectrum of lighting disciplines for two days of sourcing, networking and celebrating. What better place therefore for Alliance Lighting UK to formally launch at The ARC 2011 show in London.
The stand format proved to be a great hit with visitors, with the social networking layout and strong image visibility as well as samples on hand to demonstrate. As commented by Paul Traynor, lighting designer at Light

The LightWalk & Party
As well as having a stand at ARC 2011, Alliance Lighting, in conjunction with Lumenpulse, hosted a party close by To the ARC venue to bring a warm and cozy end to the NightSeeing™ walk led by world renowned urban lighting
artist Leni Schwendinger.
The largest ever yet LightWalk saw IALD delegates; landscape architects, designers and manufacturers from all over the country, led on a walk after-dark exploring the urban environment of Islington.
The streets of N1 were illuminated by the fabulously quirky umbrellas supplied by Alliance Lighting to protect the walkers from the much anticipated English weather!
Some 200 invited guests from the lighting industry joined the Alliance/Lumenpulse party and enjoyed some mulled wine and winter warming food and had the opportunity to meet the entire Alliance Lighting team. The cozy bar venue which was innovatively lit by products supplied by Lumenpulse.
A1 lighting magazine have written online about our event already and this will be in the hard copy to follow, accompanied by a two page feature on Douglas James and the formation of ALUK. Copy has also been promised in Lighting Magazine and FX Magazine next month and the event was previously mentioned in Lighting, A1, Lighting Today, MondoArc, Lux Magazine and various online sites as well as being heavily featured in the ARC show invite,
catalogues and general news letters.

Alliance Lighting is pleased to announce the launch of it’s UK office. As partners with several of the worlds best architectural lighting manufacturers, Alliance Lighting will provide world-class products and service to UK lighting specifiers.
With offices in the UK and the US, Alliance is uniquely positioned to support UK specifiers with their domestic and international projects. We work closely with the project team and the relevant manufacturer to ensure the correct outcome regardless of the project location.

Jointly directed by Mark DeVries from Alliance Lighting in the U.S. and Douglas James of Whitegoods in London, the formation of Alliance Lighting UK has the combined expertise of two lighting veterans and will formally launch at The ARC Show, Business Design Centre, London (Jan 12-13).
